Actor Ryan Gosling has been a busy man these days. Between filming the hush-hush film adaptation of Barbie where he plays Ken or sitting the press circuit answering a billion questions a day about his new film The Gray Man, he has barely had a moment to relax. But it's that Kenergy that seems to be keeping the 41-year-old actor going. That and his amazing wife Eva Mendez.

While guesting on BBC's The One Show, Gosling discussed how Mendez is all about his so-called Kenergy:

"She's been very supportive. She's supporting my Kenergy. She started a hashtag, #Thatsmyken, which meant a lot to me."

Part of that Kenergy stems from the poppy outfits he is rocking in the upcoming Barabie movie. He seemed surprised that his first pic with the shirtless denim vest went on to be "the biggest on the planet." She even posted the vest shot on her instagram with the caption:

"So. F. Funny. So. F. Good. So F excited for you to see this... #Thatsmyken".

A much more subdued apparel choice than the candy colored neon of his inline skating ensemble.

In a Variety interview, when talking about what Gosling wanted to get out of the role of Ken, he jokingly explained that it's about on-screen representation,

"I felt like I was seeing myself. I felt seen. I think a lot of Kens will feel seen when they see this. Gotta do it for the Kens. Nobody plays with the Kens."

The Gray Man is in theaters now and on Netflix on July 22. Barbie is expected to hit theaters July 21, 2023.
