Brad Pitt is trying hard to save his relationship with his kids amid his legal battle with Angelina Jolie.

Amid their divorce and custody battle, Pitt and Jolie got involved in a new legal case over their winery. For instance, he jetted to Rome following the "Bullet Train" premiere in Paris to see his kids.

This time, a source told Us Weekly that the "Ad Astra" actor does not want his dealings with Jolie to affect what he has with their children.

"[He] pushes to see them as often as possible wherever they all are in the world. He flew to Italy for the twins' birthday and that meant a lot to them, plus he made a big fuss of Shiloh on her 16th," the insider said.

It added that the 58-year-old cherishes the time he can have with his six children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Despite his current set-up with the "Maleficent" actress, Pitt is said to have tried everything to do and make the best since he loves being a father.

The ex-couple tied the knot in August 2014 but called it quits in September 2016. In April 2019, they were officially declared legally single.

After the messy divorce process, the estranged couple had to go through legal battles again concerning their children's custody and their winery.

Recently, a report shared by The Post (via Page Six) that Jolie is desperate not to have 50/50 custody with Pitt.

"It appears that Angelina is determined that Brad should never get 50/50 custody. And there are some who say that she won't rest until the kids are legally adults, so Brad will never have shared custody," the insider said.

This contradicted the previews reports that the exes might have finally reached a peaceful agreement when they met in Rome. An insider recently told OK! Magazine that the reunion was cordial - an unexpected development in their relationship.

Meanwhile, their winery battle started when Jolie sold her chares at the Chateau Miraval to Russian businessman Yuri Shefler, the founder of Stoli Vodka. The actor alleged that selling Jolie's share damaged the business.

He added that Miraval is his passion project that eventually became a multi-million dollar global business, adding that the actress's business, Nouvel, owed his company the right of first refusal. By selling her part, she reportedly infringed on that right.
