Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson apparently split up weeks ago, but a tattoo expert believes the latter had several warning signs that led to their breakup.

The tattoo artist described the "Saturday Night Live" star's multiple tattoos for the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum as a "red flag." Nonetheless, he stated that they are "juvenile" and "merely scribbles" that would be easily covered up by another artist.

Pete instantly got "my girl is a lawyer" tattooed on his chest after passing the baby bar.

Pete also got a "KNSCP" tattoo, which stands for Kim, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Below that were the names "Jasmine" and "Aladdin," along with an infinity symbol, referring to the roles they portrayed on the famous Saturday night program when they enjoyed their first kiss.

The final one, according to Kim, is a tattoo of a brand of her nameon his shoulder.

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres at the time, the mom-of-four stated that her lover was in the process of removing unwanted tattoos on his arm and neck, but added that Pete remarked, "I don't want to be able to get rid of it or cover it up, and I just wanted it there as a scar on me."

Adal Ray of New York's Art by Adal Ray told The Sun that Pete Davidson's tattoos for his then-girlfriend weren't a good omen, even calling it a "sort of red flag of despair."

"It appears that he was infatuated with the notion of this connection and became insanely frantic to show Kim how much he wanted it, desired her, and wanted their tale to continue."

However, the tattoo artist stated that while the comic may have seemed that way, the writing was done extremely lightly, almost as thin as tattooers are prepared to go.

He believes Pete may have considered covering it with an abstract or contemporary tattoo if his relationship with Kim did not work out.

Fans may see new body ink on Pete Davidson as he soon covers the Kim Kardashian-related ones.

Pete, according to Adal, might get a modest graphic tattoo, either colorful or in dark shades, or one enormous tattoo to cover it all.
