Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck recently married in front of their friends and family.

However, they are already confronted with a new problem.

According to New Idea, Ben and JLo are already pleased with their respective children. The "Batman vs. Superman" actor has three children from his marriage to ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while the "Maid in Manhattan" actress has twins from her marriage to Marc Anthony.

The newlyweds want to extend their family by having a biological kid, according to an insider who talked to the magazine.

However, there may be an issue because the two are not growing any younger.

"It's been difficult to accept that their one-time ambition of having a child together would likely no longer be achievable," they said. "They, in a sense, missed the baby boat."

The actress's chances of having a baby with Ben using her own eggs are apparently minimal to none. After all, JLo is in her fifties.

According to the source, if JLo decides to carry Ben's kid, she would do it via a donor egg, which will put their desire of having their own child on hold.

"Knowing they'll never be able to meet the baby they dreamt about having so many years ago is bittersweet," said the insider.

If Ben and JLo insist on having their own kid, adoption may be their only alternative.

However, this story should be taken with a grain of salt because there is no confirmation that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will have their own kid.

When the pair remarried last year, they were previously aware that the "Jenny From the Block" singer could no longer produce biological children due to her age.

As a result, they are unlikely to put any pressure on themselves to have their own child.

Ben Affleck also seemed to enjoy children, as he gave an emotional speech about his wife and twins Max and Emme at their second wedding.

According to a source who talked to Us Weekly, Ben expressed his love for JLo and her children, claiming that children are a "blessing and gift that happened because they didn't get married earlier, and it is proof that everything occurs for a reason."

The couple initially eloped in Las Vegas in July, over two decades after they became engaged in 2002. They called off their engagement in 2004.
