King Charles III reportedly did not want Meghan Markle to show up again and visit Queen Elizabeth II after her tragic death.

A few hours before Queen Elizabeth II's death, the royal family sparked worries as the members "suddenly" decided to gather at Balmoral after her doctors announced the monarch's concerning status.

King Charles II, the Queen Consort, Prince William, Prince Andrew, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, and Princess Anne, among others, traveled "immediately" before the Queen's passing. Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle marked their reunion with the royal family afterward.

However, it was claimed that Queen Elizabeth II's successor did not approve of the former actress's visit, telling Prince Charles it would be unacceptable to see the duchess there.

"Charles told Harry that it wasn't right or appropriate for Meghan to be in Balmoral at such a deeply sad time. [The royal members thought] the numbers really should be limited to the very closest family. Charles made it very, very clear Meghan would not be welcome," an insider said, per Radar Online.

The source's statement contradicted what King Charles III did, though.

In his pre-recorded speech on September 9, he delivered a heartfelt statement about Queen Elizabeth II's lifelong service. Elsewhere in his speech, he offered his simple message to show support to Prince Harry and Meghan as they began their lives outside the UK.

Queen Elizabeth II Wanted Fab Four To Reunite

Amid the buzz, a royal correspondent revealed that Meghan's presence completed Fab Four again - something Queen Elizabeth II's wished for before her death.

Rhiannon Mills of Sky News recently said that the reunion of the four royals was something the Queen would have wanted to see after going through tumultuous years.

However, royal sources revealed that the reunion was short-lived as it only happened because of a heartbreaking circumstance.

The insider told The Mirror that far from what the royal fans expected, the four royals only did it out of compassion. However, they also believed it could be a permanent reconciliation only if there would be a "major shift in attitudes."

Meghan has been suffering from media attacks even before she got married to Prince Harry. Things got worse when she and Prince Harry continuously attack the royal family after deciding to step back from their senior royal posts in 2020.
