Kanye West Offers Thoughtful Gesture To Kim Kardashian – Is There A Catch?
Kanye West, Kim Kardashian's ex-husband, has made her a pretty substantial offer.
The SKIMS billionaire was recently rumored to be back in the real estate business after spending $70 million on a Malibu property.
The Dirtoriginally reported that the mother of four had purchased an oceanfront mansion in one of Malibu's most exclusive communities.
Kim's new house is a 7,400-square-foot mansionoriginally owned by Cindy Crawford. It features four bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and a large, open living space with views of the mountains and beaches.
The home was previously advertised for more than $99 million in March, but the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star may have gotten a good deal.
Kanye allegedly offered to help Kim refurbish her beach mansion after learning of her large purchase.
Despite the sweet gesture, the 41-year-old is apparently tackling the project on her own.
According to a source who talked with Hollywood Life, this is Kim Kardashian's first home she has acquired on her own after her divorce from Kanye West, save from the house next door to her Hidden Hills home.
She apparently does not want his assistance since she prefers to handle all of the decorating alone.
The "Donda" rapper is allegedly thrilled for the reality star, since he recently acquired his own $57.3 million Malibu home, which will be completed in September 2021.
Though it appears to be a short distance from their other houses in Calabasas, the source said it feels a world away from Malibu.
"Living on the water is so quiet," they added, "and he believes it will be excellent for the kids." There is still enough solitude and distance between them that they are never too near for comfort."
Kim Kardashian also picked the Malibu home because it provided solitude and security.
She even consulted Kanye before acquiring the house because she wanted him to be aware that the transaction was about to take place.
Kim and Kanye have apparently been meeting in the middle to make choices concerning their children, making things so simple for them.
The second insider stated that the former power couple must show their children that both parents adore them.
Kim's acquisition of a Malibu home is said to be a gesture of "harmony" between him and Kanye, and the home is "pretty much perfect as is."
Meanwhile, Kanye West has yet to finish the work he intends to perform on his own Malibu property, which was gutted during the summer restoration project.
