Prince Harry seemingly started to regret something about his bombshell memoir.

After Queen Elizabeth II's death, a source told The Telegraph that Prince Harry would postpone the release of his memoir until next year.

But the Duke of Sussex himself reportedly feels scared about his tell-all as its content might be insensitive to the Queen and King Charles III.

A source told The Sun that the first draft of the highly-anticipated memoir was disappointing as it focused more on emotional and mental health issues.

"Eventually, the final draft has been finished and signed off and a lot of money and energy has been spent to make sure it comes out this year," the insider went on.

According to the source, Prince Harry wants it to be refined due to fears that some parts might not look "good," especially after the monarch's death and King Charles succeeding the throne.

It clarified that it might be too late to make changes although he does not want a complete rewrite at all.

The memoir is part of his multi-million deal to create a heartfelt memoir. It was noted that King Charles III and Prince William are already feeling uneasy about it.

Prince Harry's Memoir Could Have Ripple Effect

Although Prince Harry delayed it and wanted to apply changes to it, a royal expert noted that the book would have a ripple effect.

Royal commentator Jonathan Sacerdoti said that doing rewrites at this stage would be "a tall order."

"I think the book is an unknown unknown, because we know it's coming, but we don't have any idea what's in it. He has a right to write his memoir, but like everybody, you need to think about the effect your work might have," he said.

As for the critical effects of the memoir, Sacerdoti said the impact could be constitutional or historical.

Meanwhile, foreign policy expert Nile Gardiner told Express a worrying update regarding the book, saying that it could lead to the Sussexes' complete exile from the royal family.

For Gardiner, Prince Harry should withdraw the book instead as it is clearly going to be controversial and include criticism of the royal family. He suggested the withdrawal as it would be the right thing to do following Queen Elizabeth II's death.

In the end, he warned that the book might also cause the British people not to welcome them to the UK anymore.
