"Bachelorette" alum DeMario Jackson speaks out on sexual assault allegations and how he proved his innocence.

Reality star DeMario Jackson was a contestant on the ABC reality dating game show, "The Bachelorette", during its thirteenth season. Fans may remember him for being controversially disqualified during the second week when it was revealed that he already had a girlfriend. He, later on, appeared in the fourth season of the spin-off series, "Bachelor in Paradise" in 2017, where he quit due to allegations of misconduct. These allegations, however, were dismissed later on.

Recently, the star was reportedly sued for sexual assault by two unnamed female complainants. Jackson has recently spoken out against the allegations in an Instagram story.

"Four years ago, I, DeMario Jackson, walked straight into the Los Angeles Police Department after being falsely accused of raping two white women without an attorney present and the police let me go free," he wrote on an Instagram post.

According to the suit, DeMario Jackson had allegedly forced the two unnamed female complainants into non-consensual sex, which was after his television appearance on the reality shows. The complaints were, later on, reported to UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center's Rape Treatment Center.

How DeMario Proved His Innocence

Explaining further, the "Bachelorette" alum stated that he had proved his innocence by providing Uber receipts of his whereabouts during the alleged sexual assault incidents, as he was completely out of the vicinity of the crime.

"In addition to that, I provided screenshots of text message communication the day after they filed police reports. The authorities looked at all my evidence and let me, a six foot, four inches tall Black man leave that precinct without a doubt because I did no wrong. I am innocent, I did not hurt or harm those women." Jackson explained.

Jackson's Attorney Calls out 'Baseless' Claims

The reality star's attorney, Walter Mosley, had expressed his take on the sexual assault allegations considering his client's evidence, calling the complaints "completely baseless".

"As is clearly reflected in plaintiffs' own complaint, the police, with whom DeMario fully cooperated over 3 years ago, found the allegations made by these women to be unfounded and then declined to pursue the matter further," Atty. Moseley stated.
