Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen Over: Why Estranged Couple Processed Their Divorce Within One Day Revealed
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen immediately settled their divorce after months of sparking split rumors.
On Friday morning, Brady and Bundchen officially ended their 13 years of marriage by filing for divorce in Florida. PEOPLE confirmed that they finalized the filing on the same day and that they already broke up a month before the filing.
As for the reason why the process was easily accomplished, former judge Anthony Bompiani told The Sun that the estranged couple had an important reason for divorcing quickly and quietly.
Per Bompiani, the couple had been aiming to keep their breakup away from the public eye.
"It doesn't seem like either of them have that type of personality, but divorce and custody battles can bring out the worst in human beings. "There have been other celebrity divorces like Kanye and Kim where they litigated through the public. This is always a bad move and can be catastrophic to the progress of a case," he went on.
The former judge explained that Brady and Bundchen could have made a huge mistake if they had leaked the divorce details to the public. Fortunately, they prevented any damage from affecting each other's reputation.
He went on to warn that sensitive leaked details could have ruined the peaceful settlement they want.
Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen Split 1 Month Before Divorce Filing
Bompiani's comments came after a source told Us Weekly that the former couple expected a divorce a month before it happened as they had already called it quits before the filing.
Per the insider, Brady and Bundchen decided to end things between them a month before divorcing for good. Although they tried to save their marriage, they reportedly failed to work it out.
After failing to save their relationship, they decided to work together to settle divorce-related things instead.
Both Brady and Bundchen have since broken their silence over the split, with the model reportedly shading at her estranged husband.
While the NFL star shared that they are blessed to have wonderful children, Bundchen highlighted the fact that her priority has always been and will always be their kids.
Brady's lack of family time had always been an issue, with Bundchen urging him to be more present before filing for divorce. Aside from her fears over his health, she wanted him to spend more time with his family - but it never happened.
