Keke Palmer's Mom Threatened To 'Put A Bullet' In Darius Jackson's Head After Alleged Abuse: Report
Keke Palmer's mother, Sharon, allegedly threatened to shoot the actress' now ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson because she "feared" for her daughter's life.
The revelation comes in the wake of TMZ publishing, and subsequently deleting, a phone call in which Sharon allegedly threatened to "put a bullet" in Jackson's head.
In response, Sharon told Radar Online that her actions were born out of concern for Palmer's safety.
According to her, the heated conversation occurred after repeated attempts to get the fitness trainer to leave her daughter's premises were ignored.
"You will hear him being told to leave several times," Sharon explained. "The point where I am cussing came in after 2 [minutes] of him refusing to leave."
"I feared for her life," she added.
Sharon went on to accuse Jackson of recording her without consent, which is required under California law.
She alleged, "[M]ost abuser (sic) don't care about the law."
This tense conversation allegedly led to physical altercations captured in surveillance footage submitted as part of Palmer's request for a restraining order against Jackson.
Unnamed sources close to Jackson claimed to TMZ that the dispute began when he arrived to pick up their 8-month-old son, Leo, last Sunday to watch a football game.
However, upon his arrival, Leo was not present, triggering a confrontation between Jackson and Palmer.
During the altercation, the actress called her mother, and the situation escalated, culminating in Sharon allegedly threatening Jackson with a bullet.
The sources added that Jackson denied all allegations of abuse.
In response to the alleged threat, Jackson's mother, Yhinyer, purportedly confronted Sharon via text message.
"I have tried not to get involve [sic] in my son's personal business, but I Heard that you are going to put a bullet in my sons [sic] head???" read the alleged message, obtained by TMZ.
Jackson's mother then allegedly threatened to file a police report.
The outlet also obtained Sharon's response, which read: "Please do not contact me with this ridiculous childish behavior. Your son choked his own sister, deal with his anger issues."
"You should be very ashamed to have raised a man who fights women," Sharon added.
Last week, Palmer was granted a temporary restraining order mandating that Jackson stay at least 100 yards away from both the actress and Leo.
Additionally, she was granted temporary sole physical and legal custody of their son, with a hearing scheduled for Dec. 5 to address further custody arrangements.
In court documents she filed for her restraining order petition, Palmer accused Jackson of various abuses, including destruction of her property, physical assault and harassment.
She alleged that during the altercation about the football game, Jackson "lunged" at her, grabbed her neck and face, knocked her backward over the couch and took her phone before leaving the house and getting into his car.
Palmer said she used garbage cans to block his car from leaving, and he then allegedly almost hit her with it, NBC News reported.
According to her filing, police who responded to the home following the altercation told Jackson to leave and stay away from Palmer's residence. They reportedly also encouraged the actress to file for a domestic violence restraining order.
