Jamie Foxx has responded to the sexual assault allegation filed against him.

Earlier this week, Foxx made headlines after an unnamed woman's legal case against him was reported. The woman claimed that he sexually assaulted her at Catch NYC & Roof in August 2015, but the "Django Unchained" star flat-out denied it.

"The alleged incident never happened," Foxx's spokesperson told Page Six Thursday.

The actor's rep also expressed confidence the lawsuit would be dismissed since the same woman allegedly filed a similar case, which was thrown out of court three years ago. They were expecting the same would happen in the most recent lawsuit.

"In 2020, this individual filed a nearly identical lawsuit in Brooklyn. That case was dismissed shortly thereafter," the rep continued. "The claims are no more viable today than they were then. We are confident they will be dismissed again."

The rep also revealed the "Annie" actor's next move. Foxx will reportedly "pursue a claim for malicious prosecution against this person and her attorneys for re-filing this frivolous action."

In the court documents obtained by TMZ Wednesday, the woman was only identified as "Jane Doe." She claimed that she approached an "intoxicated" Foxx for some photos, and he allegedly pulled her by the arm to the back area of the rooftop.

Foxx allegedly placed both of his hands on her waist and moved them under her top to rub her breasts. The alleged assault reportedly became graphic when the Oscar winner slid his hands into her pants and put his fingers on and inside her private parts. According to the woman, several witnessed the incident, including security guards.

The sexual assault lawsuit against Foxx received mixed reactions on social media. One said it had become a "trend" to sue celebrities as the legal case was filed years after the incident happened, and it came on the heels of Cassie's domestic violence lawsuit against Diddy.

Some netizens were not surprised since they had already heard the lawsuit against Foxx in 2020. However, others were not convinced and hoped it was not true.

Meanwhile, Cassie and Diddy had already reached a private settlement on Thursday. Attorney Neama Rahmani told Us Weekly it was "one of the fastest settlements in American history." The legal expert believed the case was settled because "Cassie ran out of time."
