Brad Pitt just celebrated his milestone birthday earlier this week.

Pitt turned 60 years old on Monday. The Academy Award winner opted for a "very low key" birthday celebration with his friends and girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. He enjoyed some downtime before returning to work for his film "Formula 1," which resumes filming at race tracks, including Daytona International Speedway in 2024, People reported.

Another unnamed insider spoke about his recent birthday celebration with Us Weekly. Pitt was reportedly "feeling great" about turning 60 and planned to celebrate his special day with "a couple of his kids and Ines."

"He is in a loving relationship, his relationship with most of his kids is loving [and] he's in a good place," the insider said. "All Brad wants this year is for his kids and himself to be happy."

Pitt and de Ramon's romance went public when they were spotted together at a Bono concert in Los Angeles in November 2022. Sources claimed that the pair had been dating for "a few months" at the time.

De Ramon is Pitt's "first proper relationship" following his divorce from Angelina Jolie. The unnamed source told People that he had introduced de Ramon "as his girlfriend" and was "doing great" with the jewelry designer.

"It's great to see him in a good place. Ines makes him very happy," the source added.

Pitt spoke about aging and the importance of spending time with the right people in his interview with GQ in October 2019.

"How you become more aware of time, and you've had more experience, good and bad, with people. And your own wins and losses -- the older you get, they don't seem like so much of a win or so much of a loss," the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star said.

He added, "Who you spend your time with, how you spend time -- it has just become much more important to me."

Meanwhile, Pitt and Jolie's legal battle has continued following their separation in 2016. The exes share six children, Maddox, 22; Pax, 20; Zahara, 18; Shiloh, 17; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.

However, some of the older kids have seemingly shaded him. Zahara dropped his family name when she introduced herself at the introduction ceremony of the AKA sorority at Spelman College in November. Pax's Father's Day 2020 rant had also recently resurfaced. In his post, he called his celebrity dad a "world-class a--hole," who allegedly made his youngest children "tremble in fear" and "made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell."

"Happy Father's Day, you f--king awful human being," Pax added.
