"Home Alone" fans are clamoring for a new sequel starring Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern after the release of a fan-made trailer.

The parody trailer, titled "Home Alone 3 - Kevin's Revenge," teased the return of Culkin as Kevin McCallister, alongside Pesci and Stern reprising their roles as the Wet Bandits.

In this fictitious sequel, an adult Kevin faced off with his archnemeses, Marv Murchins (Stern) and Harry Lyme (Pesci), 30 years after the events of 1992's "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York."

The fake trailer opened with a scene of Culkin discovering a mysterious red bag on his doorstep.

The card inside contained a message from the Wet Bandits, saying, "We're back little buddy," setting the stage for a holiday showdown.

The voiceover set the tone for the misadventure, saying, "This holiday season, it's time to rediscover a classic. Kevin Mcallister is back -- except this family is a little weird around Christmas."

Chaos then ensued, with clips shown of booby traps, SWAT teams and a character getting lit on fire.

Released by the YouTube channel VJ4rawr2, known for its fan-edited trailers, the fake trailer used clips from various commercials, movies and TV series. It has received over 2.5 million views on YouTube as of this writing.

A third "Home Alone" movie released in 1997 did not feature Culkin, and the parody trailer now has fans hoping for a new sequel with the actor as its lead star.

One YouTube user commented on the video, "I don't care if this is only a parody, I totally could see this being an actual movie."

"I haven't gone to the cinema in a long time, but if they make this parody into a real movie, I'll grab my money and go to the cinema in an instant. I swear," another fan declared.

Another social media user echoed the sentiment, pleading, "Please don't toy with my emotions."

Some speculated about the potential success of such a sequel, suggesting that the overwhelming demand in the comments might convince filmmakers to turn the parody into reality.

One hopeful fan pointed out the trend of legacy sequels, citing examples like "Hocus Pocus 2" and "Mary Poppins Returns."

Amid the fervor, Culkin recently received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Earlier this month, the actor was honored for his contributions to the entertainment industry in a ceremony, where he expressed gratitude to his loved ones, including his fiancée, Brenda Song.

Culkin called Song his "everything" and acknowledged the profound impact she had on his life.

He also joked that she was "one of my three favorite people" after the birth of their sons, Dakota and Carson.

As the ceremony concluded, Culkin embraced the holiday spirit, playfully wishing everyone, "Merry Christmas, you filthy animals."
