There's a stark contrast between the Waleses and the Sussexes, according to a PR expert.

Luana Ribeira, actress, screenplay writer and founder of Dauntless PR and Northern Star Acting, appeared on GB News and spoke about Prince William and Kate Middleton and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. She weighed in on how the working royal couple maintained their popularity despite the criticisms.

"Both William and Kate have a quiet dignity people admire," Ribeira said.

"While the Sussexes could be said to have been washing their dirty linen in public, the Prince and Princess of Wales have provided a stark contrast and kept themselves out of any drama."

Ribeira was convinced that the future king and queen were inspired by the late monarch. Based on her observation, the Prince and Princess of Wales "follow in the steps of Queen Elizabeth II."

"They manage to walk the fine line between being very visible and hard-working when it comes to their public duties while staying fairly invisible when it comes to their personal opinions and private lives," she added.

Ribeira also said that the younger senior royals' "youth" was among the things that made them popular with the public. According to her, they "feel like a breath of fresh air" along with their "photogenic children."

PR expert Andy Barr, CEO of 10 Yetis Digital, shared the same sentiment. He also spoke with GB News about the royal couple's popular appeal and how their values were inspired by the Queen's mantra.

"William and Kate are the epitome of 'never complain, never explain,' and I think the people recognize and acknowledge just how much flak and adversity they have faced over the last two years," Barr told the outlet. "From scurrilous rumors about their private life, through to accusations of physical attacks made by his own brother, the pair have faced it all."

Barr also described the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge based on body language. According to him, they never complained, and they "have always put their front foot forward and carried on about their daily business."

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle have been outspoken about their issues and opinions. In a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, they shared an incident when a member of the royal family allegedly raised concern over their unborn child's skin color. They also dished more details about their relationship with the royals in their Netflix docuseries "Harry & Meghan."

Prince Harry went further when he dropped his memoir, "Spare," where he shared detailed information about a physical brawl with his big brother, Prince William. He also wrote about the falling out between his wife and sister-in-law in the run-up to the 2018 royal wedding over the bridesmaid dresses and mentioned Middleton's alleged grimace when Markle borrowed her lip gloss.

However, the Sussexes' controversial moves backfired. Many disapproved of them talking about their family drama in public. Some even slammed them for wanting privacy but kept on talking about their lives.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle made it to The Hollywood Reporter's 2023 Hollywood Yearbook, which featured the most popular, class clown and biggest mean girl. They were named the "Least Private Privacy Advocates."

"After the Oprah Winfrey interview, the best-selling memoir, the Netflix series, and the (canceled) Spotify podcast, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could try looking under rocks to reach the few people who haven't yet heard their appeals to be left alone," the description for the couple read.

However, Prince Harry and Markle have been very private about their kids. They were last seen with their daughter Lilibet during a family trip to Costa Rica days before Christmas Day.
