Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly have different feelings about reconnecting with the royal family.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield, host of the royal podcast "To Di for Daily" and author of "R is for Revenge Dress," weighed in on what awaits the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2024. Schofield joined Patrick Christys on GB News, and the latter asked about the possibility of the couple based in Montecito reconnecting with the members of the British royal family.

"I feel like it's significant to Prince Harry and less significant to Meghan Markle," Schofield claimed. "Meghan is obsessed about the future and how to secure a livelihood for herself and her family. She does not feel like the royal family is going to give the olive branch she needs."

The royal commentator mentioned Markle's letter to King Charles, which was featured in royal biographer Omdi Scobie's controversial book "Endgame." Schofield claimed that Markle was still focused on the past and what happened to her when she was still with the royals, and based on that, she wasn't getting what she wanted.

"She doesn't think that they're going to give her what she wants or needs. So her focus is on the future and how she can handle things going forward and find opportunities for herself," she continued.

"I do believe it's Prince Harry, you know, wanting to mend fences because there are very few people in the world that understand what he is going through, and now, they are no longer in his life. He cannot pick up the phone and call his brother and say, 'You're not gonna believe what I just went through.' He's isolated."

Some shared the same sentiment as Schofield when it came to Prince Harry allegedly wanting to reunite with his family and Markle not being on board with the idea. One insider told OK! magazine about the same issue.

"Meghan doesn't want to come back to the U.K. at all," the source said. "She's got her heart set on staying in California. She wants to build her life there, bring up the family there and focus on her career."

The source added, "I think Harry is the complete opposite -- I think he has his heart set on bringing his family back to the U.K. I'm sure it's a very difficult situation for them as a family to be in."

Prince Harry's biographer, Angela Levin, said he should compromise if he wanted his family back. The author of "Harry: A Biography of a Prince" also advised the royal prince to spend more time with his family and not rush back home to the United States whenever he is in London because reconciliation could take weeks or even months.
