Prince Harry could be the next King based on an astrologer's prediction, and netizens have mixed opinions about it.

Buckingham Palace recently announced King Charles' cancer diagnosis. The news prompted the netizens to revisit Nostradamus' 2024 prediction, which mentioned the "King of the Isles" being "driven out by force."

British author and Nostradamus commentator Mario Reading analyzed the statement and alleged that it could be referring to King Charles' abdication. The prediction also mentioned that the ruler would get replaced by someone "who will have no mark of a king," which Reading believed was Prince Harry and not Prince William, the heir apparent, the Daily Mail reported.

The prediction alleging Prince Harry could become the next King received mixed reactions from the netizens. It sparked debate, with some believing the prophecy and others arguing Nostradamus could be referring to another person apart from the royal siblings.

"Nostradamus predicted that a man would replace King Charles III, who was never expected to be King. This meant that Prince William would be set aside for whatever reason, and Harry would be on the throne as King Henry IX at the age of 38," one wrote.

"Nostradamus predicted this, but Harry will be King," a second user added.

"After the death of their queen, I predicted Harry will be king within 5yrs, I still strongly stand [by] my prediction," a third person said.

"Well, if we have to go the road of soothsaying, I've just read that Nostradamus predicted that a king of the Isles would be forced out and replaced by one who bore no mark as a king. So that would rule out Harry," a fourth person wrote.

"Remember Nostradamus predicted this! The New King will be a man who was not met [sic] to be King. He will end the reign of Charles' bloodline. No William or Harry! I do know of a guy who found out that his bloodline might be the one that Nostradamus spoke of," another added.

"How do you know? I'm genuinely curious. Because Nostradamus didn't specifically say Harry, it could be Louis," a different person said.

"Nostradamus didn't say Harry explicitly. What the prediction stated was that someone unexpected would be monarch/King. Also, Nostradamus could've been talking about anyone/monarchy because he lived 1,000 years ago when there was a buttload of monarchies around," someone else opined.

Prince William and Prince Harry were brought up fully aware of their positions in the British monarchy. The Prince of Wales is the heir, while the Duke of Sussex is the spare. However, according to royal expert Charles Rae, a former correspondent for The Sun, Princess Diana found her youngest son better equipped for the throne, so she called him "Good King Harry."

"Diana dubbed Harry GKH (Good King Harry) because she thought he would have been better equipped for the role as a future king," Rae said, per Marie Claire. "It was also used to make Harry feel that extra special."

Robert Jobson, author of "Our King: The Man and the Monarch Revealed," also spoke about the same issue in the documentary "William & Harry: Princes At War?"

According to him, Prince William allegedly told Princess Diana that he "didn't want to be king." Prince Harry then chimed in, "If you don't want the job, I'll have it," Yahoo! reported.
