Taylor Swift Wasn't Allowed To See Boyfriend Travis Kelce Before Super Bowl: Report

Taylor Swift arrived at the Super Bowl to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Swift immediately returned to the United States after wrapping up her "The Eras Tour" concert in Tokyo, Japan, on Saturday evening for the Super Bowl. She performed four consecutive shows at the Tokyo Dome in Japan for the latest leg of her "The Eras Tour."

An hour after her last performance ended, minivans reportedly arrived at Haneda Airport, where "someone went inside the gate area as four to five people carrying large black umbrellas obstructed the view of the person," Page Six reported.

The singer had to travel against time zones to be at the Super Bowl LVIII, where she is expected to stay in a VIP suite that her boyfriend paid for her. Swift and Kelce's parents and siblings are expected to be there, too.

The pop icon did not rush to see the American football tight end when she returned home to Los Angeles for a reason. An alleged NFL ruling prevents players from seeing their wives or girlfriends the night before the big game. So, Swift and Kelce didn't see each other before the annual league championship, TMZ reported.

Due to the alleged rule, the "You Belong With Me" singer spent the night at her home. However, she was spotted at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs.

The "Bad Blood" singer arrived with her mom, Andrea Swift, Blake Lively, Ice Spice and Ashley Avignone. The Grammy winner rocked an all-black outfit with a red jacket draped over her shoulder.

Swift's anticipated arrival was caught on camera, with many fans celebrating it. NFL on CBS shared footage of her arrival and captioned it, "She's here."

Swift's presence at the stadium received mixed reactions, with many loving it and others expressing dismay because they felt the whole event had become all about the superstar.

"Taylor Super excited for the #SuperBowl2024," one wrote with fire emojis.

Another user added, "The queen has arrived."

"So far, it looks like Taylor Bowl or Swift Bowl (not sure) [mutiple rolling on the floor laughing emojis]. I've seen her on screen and people talking about her than about [the] actual event," a third person commented with more laughing emojis.

A fourth user added, "T Swift's stardom is insane. Never in my days would I have expected to see Blake Lively & Ice Spice go unmentioned."

"I want to watch football, not Taylor, every damm second," a different user said.

Swift and Kelce started dating in September 2023. Since then, the "Anti-Hero" singer has been spotted attending over 10 Chiefs games throughout the 2023-2024 season.

Kelce also returned the favor by traveling with his girlfriend for her "The Eras Tour" concert in Argentina, per Today.
