Travis Kelce Is Forced To Move To New Home Due To Girlfriend Taylor Swift's Popularity, Jason Kelce Says

Travis Kelce's brother Jason Kelce got candid about how their lives changed after the former started dating Taylor Swift.

On Monday's episode of "The Big Podcast with Shaq," the Philadelphia Eagles player spoke about the drawbacks of being part of pop culture. According to Jason, one of them was Travis getting forced to move from his old house to a new home for security reasons because people flocked to his old place after learning he was Swift's new boyfriend.

"Travis knows way more than I do, he had to completely move out of his house," Jason said. "People were just staying by his house. And the first day he moved into the new house ... [in] a gated community, somebody knocks on the back window of the house."

The Kelce siblings are famous in the NFL world. However, Jason, 36, admitted that their popularity was brought to another level after Travis, 34, began dating the pop superstar last year. Swift has millions of fans worldwide, and anyone associated with her also gets the same attention.

"We've always been big in the football world, Travis especially. The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that's a whole different level. It's a new demographic that wasn't there before," Jason continued.

Swift and Travis began dating in September 2023. A month later, Travis purchased a $6 million mansion in Kansas City, Missouri. The gated community offers him the privacy he needs, according to Page Six.

The football tight end reportedly started looking for a new home when he realized that the house he bought in the high-end Briarcliff West neighborhood in 2019 was very accessible to the public.

Travis previously spoke about how dating the "Anti-Hero" singer changed his life, especially in terms of privacy. In one episode of their "New Heights" podcast, the Kelce siblings discussed the issue.

"We've been avoiding this subject out of respect for your personal life -- now we've got to talk about it," Jason told his younger brother, per Yahoo! Entertainment.

"My personal life that is not so personal," Travis jokingly responded after receiving intense scrutiny following Swift's sighting in the skybox next to their mom, Donna Kelce.

However, Travis clarified that he wasn't blaming his girlfriend for the things happening to him amid their romance.

"I did this to myself, Jason, I know this," Travis added.

Swift and Travis packed on the PDA when the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday. The celebrity couple was also caught on camera dancing to her hit song "Love Story" at the afterparty held at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas.
