Travis Kelce's mom, Donna Kelce, recounted her previous interview that made Swifties believe she wasn't a Taylor Swift fan and admitted she felt a sense of dread thinking back about it.

Donna spoke with J.R. Moehringer for WSJ. Magazine's December/January cover story on Travis. During the conversation, she clarified her stand on Swift and Travis' romance, seemingly approving of the singer because her youngest son is "happier."

"I can tell you this," she told the outlet, which described her as "beaming" with her response, "He's happier than I've seen him in a long time .... God bless him. He shot for the stars!"

In early October, Donna sat down for an interview with "Today," where she got asked about her first meeting with the "You Belong With Me" singer in a Kansas City Chief game suite.

At the time, Donna commented that the romance was "fairly new," and she didn't want to talk about it. She added that spending time with the 12-time Grammy winner was "okay." Her response went viral, with many convinced she wasn't a Swift fan.

However, she told the magazine that Travis immediately called when the interview aired and assured her she did well. To put her at ease, Travis even complimented his mom for her green eyeglasses, which she put on that day.

Donna was only careful not to share too much about her son's private life. She also said those who wanted to figure out Travis should look to his older brother, Jason Kelce.

According to the mother of two, Travis "could never quite catch up" to his 36-year-old big brother when they were younger. "He was always just second, just searching to be the best and never quite getting there," she added.

However, the Kansas City Chiefs' All-Pro tight end could always catch up with Jason in the kitchen, as both could reportedly eat whole chickens.

The Philadelphia Eagles center also appeared for his younger brother's cover story and took pride in Travis' buoyant disposition.

"He just lives his life with so much joy," Jason said. "He's always kind of surrounding himself with people who are funny, who have a zest for life; it's one of the things that defines him."

Swift and Travis' romance has been heating up. They were spotted kissing at the "Eras" tour in Argentina. She also used his favorite word, "electric," when she described her concert in the Argentine Republic.

"Starting off the South American leg of 'The Eras Tour' in Argentina = best decision possible. I can't even express my gratitude to the Buenos Aires crowds," Swift wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "I've never been to Argentina before, and they gave us the most electric, magical memories."

Travis often uses the word "electric" to describe a good time. It is well documented on his and his brother Jason's podcast, "New Heights."
