Prince Harry and Meghan Markle put on a united front during their trip to Canada amid speculations the visit could "make or break them."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a photo on their new website, Sussex.com, following their visit to Canada for the 2025 Invictus Games. The snap was taken when they attended a celebratory gala at the Vancouver Convention Centre, and it showed Markle and Prince Harry clapping their hands while staring at each other. Meanwhile, the rest of the subjects were blurred out.

Judi James, a leading communication and body language expert who has appeared on several high-profile TV and Radio programs, including BBC News, Sky News, GB News and CNN, weighed in on the newest photo from the Sussexes. According to her, it was the royal couple's power move to ensure all eyes were on them.

"There are three clear non-verbal signals radiating from their choice of this photo: Firstly, the sense of glamour and status," the expert explained to Mirror, noting that they looked "feted and regal" and were "posing as the center of attention."

"The second signal is a relationship one. This pose shows Harry and Meghan using body language twinning, sitting in similar poses with matching smiles of delight," she continued.

The expert pointed out how Prince Harry and Markle mirrored each other, suggesting they were like-minded individuals and giving the public a sense that they were "a very strong and unified double act." However, between the two, it was Markle who threw her husband frequent glances. She was also seen touching his cheek at one point.

"Lastly it's those smiles that speak the loudest. If the couple want to send a message of 'we will not be broken,' this would be an ideal photo to endorse that. The similar poses, the success and the glamour and those happy, carefree smiles are all on-brand with that projected message," James added.

The Sussexes received intense backlash while they were in Canada. A report from The Telegraph claimed that their three-day stay in the country would be a "make or break" for the couple, which their rep immediately shut down.

"We've heard time and time again that certain opportunities are make or break for the couple," Prince Harry and Marke's rep said in a statement to The Mirror. "They're still here. They're still working and pursuing what they believe in despite constantly being challenged and criticized. This couple will not be broken."
