Kathy Griffin announced a handful of new tour dates on Tuesday during an appearance on 'The View,' but she admitted that one now-scheduled location is particularly important to her.

The Emmy and Grammy Award winning comedian, who kicked off her 40-date "My Life on the PTSD-List" tour in February, told the audience that eight more stops were added to the tour, including one at Carnegie Hall.

"I like to break little records," she explained about why the inclusion of a show at the famous New York venue was so important. "I was tied with the late, great Joan Rivers — who I miss every day. She and I had each done Carnegie just as single female comics five times each. So I'll be breaking our record by doing it a sixth time."

"It's exciting as a chick comic!"

Griffin, 63, then discussed the nature of her tour, assuring 'View' co-host Sara Haines that she was not using the term "PTSD" lightly, or just for the wordplay on her six-season reality show that ended in 2010, 'My Life on the D-List.' Haines noted that after Griffin's controversial 2017 photo mocking Donald Trump — "Six years I was out of work because of that bulls**t! All about a picture I took, a picture making fun of the president! Which you're supposed to do as a comic" — her career was effectively waylaid.

There was a two-month federal investigation for conspiracy to assassinate the president (nothing came of it), and she was put on the No Fly list and Interpol list, according to ABC News.

On top of all of that, she battled a pill addiction, a suicide attempt, a three-day 5150 psychiatric hold, and a lung cancer diagnosis, despite the fact that she's never smoked. She lost her beloved 99-year-old mother just as the COVID lockdowns were beginning in March 2020. She's currently in the middle of a contentious divorce, according to PEOPLE.

"I've been through hell and back, people! Hell and back!"
