Lizzo shocked the entertainment world on Friday when she announced she was quitting.

Without revealing what prompted her to release the statement, the singer-rapper took to social media to vent out her frustrations and anger for "being dragged by everyone."

"I'm getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet," the artist said in her emotional statement.

"All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it. But I'm starting to feel like the world doesn't want me in it."

The 25-year-old hitmaker claimed "lies" have been told about her for "clout and views" and that her character has been attacked by "people who don't know me."

"[I'm] being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look."

She concluded her statement, saying "I didn't sign for this s**t -- I QUIT"

Lizzo's shocking announcement comes just a day after the attorney of her former backup dancers -- Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez -- called her recent performance at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall "shameful."

Davis, Williams and Rodriguez filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the artist in August, claiming the "About Damn Time" singer created a hostile work environment for them, including suffering religious and racial discrimination, Billboard reported.

"It's shameful that Lizzo would be chosen to headline an event like this amid such egregious allegations," Ron Zambrano told NewsNation.

"Without getting into the politics, I can't imagine why anyone would want Lizzo representing them in any way given her reprehensible behavior. It's just a terrible look."

In February, a Los Angeles judge denied Lizzo's motion to toss out the lawsuit which she claimed was just her accusers way of trying to "silence" her.
