Rebel Wilson addressed the Adele comparisons in her new memoir, "Rebel Rising."

The 44-year-old Australian actress claimed in her book that she thinks the 35-year-old singer probably "hates" her because people would often confuse them with each other because of their weight, according to In Touch Weekly.

"Some actresses would get offended if I called them plus-size in this book, so I have to be careful with what I say. This is why, I think, Adele hates me," she wrote.

"There was a moment when she was bigger, and some people would confuse us for one another... I am assuming, because to be fair, I've never asked her."

The "Pitch Perfect" star also claimed that at events she and Adele were both present, the "Rolling in the Deep" artist "always quickly turns away."

"As if my fatness might rub off on her If I were near her for more than thirty seconds. That she didn't like being compared to 'Fat Amy,'" she wrote, referring to her character from the musical comedy film series.

Wilson was previously known as the plus-size star in movies such as "Pitch Perfect," "How to Be Single," "Isn't It Romantic" and "A Few Best Men," among many others.

In an episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in 2023, she claimed that she had to hold off on weight loss because she wasn't allowed to lose "more than 10 pounds" while filming the "Pitch Perfect" series.

"I did wait until 'Pitch Perfect' seemed like it was over. I couldn't lose a massive amount of weight because I was in the contracts for that movie," she said.

"You can't lose, I think it's not more than 10 pounds or gain more than 10 pounds. You have to stay at the weight. It's in your contract."

A few years after the film franchise wrapped up in 2017, she underwent a "Year of Health" in 2020 and lost almost 80 pounds.

Her weight loss journey was inspired by her desire to be a mom. When she visited a fertility doctor in 2019, she was told she would "do much better" in retrieving and freezing her eggs if she were healthier, according to Women's Health.

Meanwhile, Wilson previously talked about getting confused with Adele in 2015. During her guest appearance on Radio 1's "Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw" for the promotion of "Pitch Perfect 2," she said that she often got mistaken for the British songstress, according to the Daily Mail.

"Sometimes, I get confused for Adele. And I'm like, 'Are you kidding me? Are you serious? She's like way better,'" she said at the time.
