Melania Trump is selling accessories for Mother's Day, but her new business venture has received mixed responses from the netizens.

The former first lady is marking this year's Mother's Day by honoring and celebrating moms with the "Her Love & Gratitude" necklace. Melania announced the item on social media.

"Let's honor and celebrate all mothers with love and gratitude," she wrote on X, formerly Twitter, along with the link to the product.

“Being a mother is one of the most important roles in life. For this Mother’s Day, I have designed the ‘Her Love & Gratitude’ necklace to express immense gratitude and honor all mothers,” Trump also said of her new product in a statement obtained by The Hill over the weekend.

According to Melania's website, the product is a customizable necklace designed by the ex-FLOTUS to honor moms. The 1-inch pendant can be engraved with names, initials, or significant dates for a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry. It also comes with a 16- to 20-inch adjustable chain in gold vermeil.

Each necklace also features Melania's signature. Those who will purchase the necklace will also receive a limited-edition digital collectible.

However, not everyone was impressed by Melania's item. Several even criticized it for being too expensive.

"The grift never stops with this family. Melania Trump selling Mother's Day necklaces for $245," wrote Mike Sington, a former senior executive at NBCUniversal and Hollywood insider.

Another added, "She's grifting $245 dollars for this tiny necklace and pendant, and it's not even real gold."

"And it's tacky. Looks cheaply made. But I wouldn't expect anything else from her. No thanks," a third person opined.

"Jesus Christ. You filthy gold-digging grifter!" a fourth person commented on Melania's tweet.

Despite the backlash, several netizens defended Donald Trump's wife and expressed their support for her.

"We honor and love YOU, Melania," one commented.

Another remarked, "God Bless you, Melania. Mothers should be Celebrated always.... We love our Mothers."

"Absolutely! Mother's Day is a wonderful opportunity to honor and celebrate all mothers with love and gratitude," a third person agreed.

"Agree, let us all hold hands and celebrate all mothers with love and gratitude!! Thank you, Melania," a fourth user opined.

Melania's Mother's Day-inspired accessory comes months after her mom, Amalija Knavs, passed away in January. The ex-FLOTUS was very close to the latter.

She announced her mother's death on social media and paid tribute to her mom as she mourned her passing.

"It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Amalija," Melania wrote on X.

"Amalija Knavs was a strong woman who always carried herself with grace, warmth and dignity. She was entirely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson and son-in-law. We will miss her beyond measure and continue to honor and love her legacy."
