Music producer/singer Timbaland has a Michael Jackson project coming up and the first single to be released will be Chicago featuring Jackson's vocals, he revealed in an interview with P Diddy's Revolt TV.

Timberland relayed a few details about the collaboration in a small teaser for the interview, which will be released in its entirety soon.

L.A. Reid, the CEO of Epic Records, approached Timbaland with the idea and even visited his home to have a detailed discussion about the project. In the interview he goes on to reveal new details about the upcoming single Chicago.

"Now you're gonna hear my music with his voice on it," Timberland said. "Now's my time. Watch me go."

Timbaland also said that he spoke to the King of Pop on the phone four years ago about working on a new project together. He described the hoped for collaboration as "two kings working together."

The video teasing the project went up online on Aug. 27. Timbaland announced earlier in 2013 other collaborations with Missy Elliot and Aaliyah.

Most recently, Justin Bieber released a track collaborating with the legendary pop star on his song, Slave to the Rhythm. The track was leaked on the internet on Aug. 16. but has been taken off due to rights issues by SPE. Slave to the Rhythm uses a remixed track of Jackson's song, which was released shortly after his death in 2009.
