The casting chatter for Star Wars: Episode VII has instantaneously picked up, as two actors are reportedly being rumored for roles in the highly anticipated blockbuster movie.

According to Jedi News, Spartacus standout Liam McIntyre, 31, and Black Swan's Ksenia Solo, 25, have come up in talks for the highly popular franchise.

Solo is said to be seriously considered for the character of Princess Leia and Han Solo's daughter while McIntyre was said to have read for the part of a Jedi.

In other Star Wars news, Showbiz 411 reported that a casting call for an unspecified "Studio Feature" is currently being conducted in the New York City area. What gave legs to the news is the fact that it's a flick directed by J.J. Abrams and the casting department is on the hunt for the following three roles:

"[YOUNG MAN] Early 20s. Handsome, but not necessarily heroic. He is witty and smart. Physically fit."

"[MAN] Late 20s. Physically fit, handsome and confident."

"[YOUNG WOMAN] Late teens. Physically fit, raw energy, independent and with a great sense of humor."

What makes the respective casting info intriguing is that the latter two sound like attributes of both McIntyre and Solo.

Star Wars: Episode VII will occur around the time period following the events of Return of the Jedi. It's scheduled to launch on July 15, 2015. A fan-made film trailer can be viewed below.
