Hugh Jackman's latest film Prisoners is projected to take the no. 1 spot at the box office this weekend.

Prisoners, which stars Jackman alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, debuted with $7.5 million Friday, according to Deadline. The dark adult drama is expected to gross about $22 million over the course of the weekend, allowing it to easily out-gross all other movies in theaters.

This weekend's other new film, Battle of the Year, is expected to be no. 4 this weekend. The latest teen dance movie is only being shown in 2,008 theaters and made $1.7 million Friday with estimations at a $5 million weekend.

The classic film The Wizard of Oz is returning to theaters in a limited engagement - this time in IMAX 3D. The film is only opening in 318 theaters but is still expected to debut at no. 9 with a $532,000 Friday and a $2.4 million weekend estimate.

Insidious: Chapter 2, last weekend's no. 1 film, will drop to no. 2 this weekend with a projected $13.5 million. The horror sequel made $4.8 million Friday and should cross the $60 million cumulative mark after Sunday.

Mafia comedy The Family will drop to no. 3 in its second weekend in theaters. The Robert de Niro-Michelle Pheiffer film made $2.1 million Friday and is projected to make $6.4 million over the weekend.

The Jennifer Aniston comedy We're the Millers is still going strong in its seventh week of release. The comedy is expected to round out the top 5 this weekend with a $1.2 million Friday and a $4.2 million weekend, putting its cumulative total at $137.7 million.

Other films expected to make the top 10 are Lee Daniels' The Butler, Instructions Not Included, Riddick and Planes.
