Scarlett Johansson has a whole new look as she searches for her next victim in the trailer for Under The Skin.

The actress ditches her blonde long hair for short black hair. In a raunchy scene she also sports black lingerie as she walks seductively toward the camera.

"You think I'm pretty?" Johansson is heard asking a male character. "You don't want to wake up, do you?"

In the sci-fi film, which takes place in Scotland, Johansson plays an alien named Laura who falls to Earth in human form and preys on men.

"When we were talking about how Scarlett's character should look and what she should wear, the part of our task was to create a disguise," the film's director, Jonathan Glazer, told The Hollywood Reporter. "So something that would stand out to an extent but at the same time blend."

Johansson discussed with the publication the challenges that came with filming, including the cold weather and the wilderness. Another challenge, however, was portraying such a different role compared to her past projects.

"Just struggling to remain very present and clear in my mind throughout the filming and to be focused and present in the scenes where I felt very bombarded by real-life and the unexpected," she told THR. "It was a workout but I got stronger through it."

It also helped that Johansson worked with a director whom she thinks very highly of.

"It's an amazing experience," she told Toronto's City News of working with Glazer. "I'd advise for any actor if they ever have the opportunity. Jonathan was wonderful to collaborate with, he's so sensitive and so intuitive and very brave and I put absolute and complete trust in him and I think he had the same in me."
