Penelope Cruz gave birth to her second child in July and is already back to her slim self.

The actress walked the red carpet in a fitted lace gown at a special screening of her new movie, The Counselor, at London's Odeon West End on Thursday night. Cruz, 39, showed off her hourglass figure in a full-length gown that had sheer long sleeves and featured a black and gold lace overlay. She paired the look with a gold clutch, smoky eyes and nude lipstick. 

The Spanish Oscar winner opted for a ombre look -- she dyed the lower section of her hair a lighter shade -- and wore her wavy hair parted in the middle as they brushed over her shoulders.

Cruz gave birth to her daughter Luna on July 23. She married actor Javier Bardem in July 2010 and they also have a 2-year-old son, Leo Encinas Cruz. 

The Counselor stars Cruz, Bardem, Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Michael Fassbender. Cruz did not pose with Bardem alone on the red carpet and he instead chose to take pictures with Fassbender, who plays Cruz's fiance in the upcoming thriller. Directed by Oscar winner Ridley Scott, the film tells the tale of a lawyer (Fassbender) who in over his head when he gets mixed up in the world of drug trafficking. Cruz plays Laura while Bardem plays drug dealer Reiner. 

The movie marks the first on-screen reunion between Cruz and Bardem since 2008's Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Pitt and Ridley have not worked together since 1991's Thelma & Louise, and Cruz and Diaz reunited after starring together in 2001's Vanilla Sky. 

The Counselor is out in U.S. theaters on Oct. 25 and in the United Kingdom on Nov. 15.
