Despite a troubled marriage for Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, the couple recently sat down and talked on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

A source close to the 29-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star said Odom's visit to her Tarzana. Calif. home was not planned, but the couple who did not spend their fourth wedding anniversary together sat down for an in-depth conversation.

"He was there for a couple of hours and they spoke," the source said, according to Us Weekly. "They talked for a while, and he left."

The meeting, in fact, wasn't necessarily a surprise for Kardashian and Odom, who has yet to be picked up by an NBA team. The couple has been living apart for months but have seen each other from time to time.

Despite the meeting, which appears to be positive for the couple, a reconciliation does not seems to be in works. A source said that Kardashian actually called up Odom to discuss plans for a divorce.

"She wanted to give him fair warning,"  the source said.

"Khloe was very firm," the friend added. "She think it's best they both move on."

Enstars reported earlier that Kardashian is said to be very upset with Odom, which first fueled rumors of a future divorce. 

"There's going to be no more interventions and no more trying to save Lamar because she just wants to live her life even though it's very separate from the life he's living now," a source said, adding  "Khloe isn't quite ready to file divorce papers...but she's definitely done trying to save the marriage.
