Castle star Nathan Fillion will be appearing on Community in the sitcom's upcoming fifth season.

Fillion will guest star as Bob Waite, the head custodian at Greendale Community College who is very politically savvy, according to a Thursday report by Deadline. Annie (Alison Brie) and criminology professor Buzz Hickey (guest star Jonathan Banks) will go up against Bob when they go on a mission to figure out who is in power at the college.

The report claims that Bob is a man who is "not afraid to get his hands dirty but is smart enough to wear rubber gloves."

Fillion joins a number of guest stars that will be appearing on Community this season. In addition to Banks, Walton Goggins (Justified) will be guest starring as the mysterious Mr. Stone. Other actors that will be returning to their guest roles this season include LeVar Burton (as himself), Rob Corddry (as lawyer Alan Connor) and John Oliver (as Ian Duncan).

When Community returns for its fifth season there will be one less member; Chevy Chase will no longer be appearing in the show as Pierce Hawthorne after asking to be let go of his contract. Donald Glover - who plays Troy Barnes - will only be appearing in five episodes this season before leaving to focus on his rapping career.

Season 5 of Community does not have a scheduled premiere date yet but it is expected to debut at some point in the 2013-2014 television season on NBC. The season will only be 13 episodes long.
