The new trailer for Machete Kills features Lady Gaga and also a new song, Aura, from her upcoming album, ARTPOP.

Gaga debuted the song, performing it at the iTunes Festival concert in September. A special Machete Kills lyric video of Aura, featuring the entire song, will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 8. In the film Gaga plays Lady Chamelion, a blond-haired, glamorous assassin type.

The film, which is a sequel to Machete (2010) also stars Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Charlie Sheen, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Alexa Vega, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Mel Gibson. The campy grindhouse film follows the story of Machete (Danny Trejo), who returns as former Mexican detective-turned-spy, and is recruited by U.S. President Rathcock (Charlie Sheen) to stop radical revolutionary Mendez (Demian Bichir) from launching a deadly missile aimed at Washinton D.C. But Machete soon discovers that the real threat is an international criminal organization led by an eccentric billionaire arms dealing terrorist, Luther Voz (Mal Gibson), who has launched a conspiracy to start riots in every country.

The track is pretty well suited to the film and is embellished by snatches of Mexican influences, it only latched onto the mainstream pop when it gets to the refrain. "It's not a statement as much as just a move of passion," Gaga sings.

Gaga will also have a cameo in Rodriguez's next film, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which will release on Aug. 22 2014.

The movie will release on Oct. 11

ARTPOP releases exactly a month after Machete Kills, on Nov. 11.
