Michelle Williams visited the set of Dawson's Creek, after about a decade, with her daughter Matilda Ledger.

The actress went to the set with the 7-year-old, her daughter with Heath Ledger, to Wilmington, North Carolina, where the show was shot. (The location was renamed as fictional Capeside, Massachusetts.)

Williams spoke to writer Dave Denby at the New Yorker festival on Oct. 5 about the visit.

"I actually hadn't been back since the show ended, but I went back and took my daughter on vacation and saw people I hadn't seen in 10 years and went all the places that we used to go ... And it was great. It was actually a real stroke of luck to be transported there," she said.

The 33-year-old actress has previously suggested that she'd be up for a Dawson's Creek reunion special. In 2012, she expressed her interest while promoting her film, Oz: The Great and Powerful Thursday, at a Comic-Con press conference.

"I would very happily do a reunion show. I don't know what it would be," Williams said. "My character died in the end, so there are certain limitations for me. It's either I come back as a ghost or I'm shot through a lot of gauzy, hazy light as my nineteen-year-old self."

Williams started her career and gained recognition for her portrayal of Jen Lindley on the show. The show also starred James Van Der Beek as Dawson Leery, Katie Holmes as Joey Potter, and Joshua Jackson as Pacey Witter.

Williams also spoke to Denby about her daughter's reaction to her work.

"She is starting to understand that more and more," Williams said. "I mean she knows a lot about Glinda the Good Withc [from Oz the Great and Powerful]. She knows a lot about who that is and what that was and she was very-she was so excited to be that for Halloween. She would go up to people in the park and be like, 'My mommy is Glinda the Good Witch in the Oz movie. There are two bad ones and only one good one and that's my mommy.'"
