The Mighty Avenger's new villains of Thor: The Dark World have been revealed, according to MTV.

The villains have about 5,000 YEARS worth of grudge and revenge they're looking to settle. Director Alan Taylor broke down their origin and why they're so angry.

"Thor is part of this epic [Asgardian] thing ... going on. ... [The Dark Elves haven't] been around for 5,000 years. They've been pissed off since the Big Bang," he said.

Film producer Craig Kyle also said it doesn't look good for anyone in their path.

"As far as anyone knows, [Thor's father] Odin was a child the last time [the Dark Elves] were dealt with and believed to be wiped out. So, when they return it's not good news."

The ringleader of the "dark elves" is Malekith (who is played by Christopher Eccleston mostly known for his role in Doctor Who). Kyle said Malekith enjoys a struggle and putting on a show for anyone who is watching. His sidekicks are "his right-hand elf, Algrim" who goes through a major transformation in the film and the rest of the Dark Elves.

The main characters of the movie have gotten new press this week as a lego version of the movie poster was released Wednesday, reported the LA Times. It also promotes the Lego Marvel Super Heroes vide game that's set to be released Oct. 22 for consoles Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3 DS, PlayStation Vita and PC.Players will also get to interact with their favorite characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man and Wolverine.

Marvel Entertainment Interactive Manager Chris Baker told Hero Complex, "We wanted to touch every corner of the Marvel universe that was possible."
