Kate Winslet proudly flaunted her baby bump at the premiere of Labor Day in London on Monday.

In the upcoming film, directed by Jason Reitman, Winslet plays a depressed single mom named Adele. Along with her son Henry, Adele offers a wounded stranger a ride. It turns out, he's an escaped convict and the police begin searching the town for him. Adele and her son eventually learn the convict's true story.

"The script was absolutely wonderful as was the novel and Jason is a great director, whom I really admire," she told HitFix about why she took the role. "I think mostly the complexity of Adele combined with the simplicity really, of the love story, which is really very pure and simple when you peel back all of these layers."

At the premiere, the actress had her blonde hair tied back and wore an eye-catching red dress. She held her left hand over her big baby bump as she smiled for photographers.

Gravity Tops The Box Office

The 37-year-old is expecting her first child with Ned Rocknroll, whom she married in December of 2012. Winslet already has two children from previous relationships.

"I always want them to be regular kids who are grateful and respectful of other human beings. I want them to know that when we fly first-class, that they are lucky," she told Harper's Bazaar in March.

She also said, "The highest compliment I could ever receive about my kids - and I can say that this does happen frequently - is when the in-flight crew say to me, 'Your children are wonderful. They are so well-behaved.' Every time I am told that, I could weep."
