Fran Drescher stepped out with her new and younger boyfriend, Shiva Ayyadurai.

Ayyadurai is only 7 years younger than the 56-year-old Happily Divorced actress and he just so happens so be the inventor of email!

The new couple stepped out at the premiere of Bridegroom at the Academy Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, Calif on Tuesday, Oct. 15. 

An eyewitness who attended the event told Us Weekly that Drescher and Ayyadurai were "very affectionate." The Nanny star even grabbed his hand and pulled him in close at one point. 

"He [gave] her a kiss," the eyewitness said. "They [were] all smiles and [seemed] very into each other and very much in love."

As a high school student back in 1978, Ayyadurai developed "Email," a full-scale emulation of a mail system . He copyrighted it in 1982. 

Drescher recently revealed that she loves to cook with her Indian-American scientist boyfriend and that they are currently brainstorming for a couple-themed Halloween costume. 

"I don't think we've decided yet but we know what we're doing. We've got some really good parties to go to and Iron & Wine, which is one of my favorite bands, is playing down at the Orpheum so we're gonna be doing all that," she said. "I can't do anything but sexy so we gotta work along those lines."

Drescher was previously married to high school sweetheart Peter Marc Jacobson for 21 years until they divorced in 1999. Two years later, Jacobson came out of the closet and revealed he was gay.

Back in November 2012, Frescher said she didn't mind dating younger men.

"[I've] got a lot of energy and a lot of contemporary taste in music or whatever, so I have more in common with guys who are younger," she told HuffPost Live. "I'm trying to keep it within ten years now. Definitely younger."
