Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have confirmed that they are expecting their first child together.

According to People, Wilde, 29, and Sudeikis, 38, will be welcoming their bundle of joy sometime next year.

Wilde responded to the news on Twitter, writing "WOW. You guys are awesome. So kind. Thank you Thank you thank you!PS. Babies eat mostly salsa right?"

The couple, who met while filming the Saturday Night Live season finale in 2011, got engaged this past January. It will be the second marriage for both. Wilde was previously married to documentarian Tao Ruspoli, whom she divorced in 2011, while Sudeikis and Pitch Perfect Screenwriter Kay Cannon split in 2010.

Wilde has previously hinted that she wanted to start a family with the comedian, saying in a March interview with Marie Claire that she knew he was "the one."

"I'm open-minded about how many, but three, which I love, is like a little party...I've never before experienced looking at someone and thinking, 'That's who I want to raise a child with."

The actress also gushed about Sudeikis in an October interview with Vanity Fair. She told the publication she wanted a long engagement to the star.

"Its funny people tend to skip over the engagement thing. They think it's like, 'oh, engaged.' And then you get there. I don't think you should spend your entire engagement planning a wedding. Because it's fun. It's this great time. It's like dating-plus," she said.

Sudeikis told Maxim in August about his fiancee, "you know, being beautiful is actually only like fifth or sixth of the things that are amazing about her. She's really hilarious. And she loves basketball...I think people look at us and wonder what kind of information I have on her to get so lucky. Like, I must have video of her taking a bomb into the white house."
