Camille Grammer has been granted a temporary restraining order against her former boyfriend after claiming he attacked her for up to an hour in a hotel room assault.

The 45-year-old former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star filed a four-page declaration at the Superior Court of California in Santa Monica on Tuesday detailing her ordeal, according to Daily Mail.  She accused her Greek boyfriend, 36-year-old lawyer Dimitri Charalambopoulos, of pulling out her hair, leaving her battered and bruised, and "in fear for my life," she said.

Along with her documents she submitted photographs of her injuries, see here.

Grammer's restraining order prohibits Charalambopoulos from going within 100 yards of her or her two children.

Grammer said she was left with bruises on her wrists, a large contusion on the side of her head, and abrasions to her face and arms.

Victor Senties, a spokesman for Huston Police Department, confirmed to MailOnline the assault was reported at around 3.30 a.m. on Oct. 16. The incident happened at the luxury ZaZa hotel in Houston, Texas, days after she underwent surgery for endometrial cancer. Senties said  investigations continue and no charges have been filed at the time, reported Wednesday.

The assault allegedly began after Charalambopoulos received a series of texts and a phone call from a woman who ended up screaming at him during their call, Grammer claimed in the court documents.

Charalambopoulos then reportedly grabbed his former girlfriend by the hair, twisting it around his hand before knocking her head against the bed and headboard. Grammer described in her decleration how he "repeatedly slamming my head and face into the furniture and completely immobilizing me."

Grammer also claimed that Charalambopoulos "'squeezed my nose between his finger and pushed upward forcefully, covering my mouth in an attempt to silence me to prevent me from breathing." She detailed how she begged him to stop and alleged the attack went on for between 40 minutes and an hour.

When she tried to call for help, he allegedly smashed her iPhone. Houston Police told MailOnline the pair "broke each other's cell phones" during the course of reported altercation.

Charalambopoulos also threatened to knock her out if she moved from the bed as he left the room, the declaration read.

Grammer and Charalambopoulos began dating in late 2011 and are now said to have split up, according to RadarOnline.

Grammer tweeted on Monday she planned to press charges against a man - not named at the time - who "belonged behind bars."

"Getting my strength back now that I am at home and wasn't able to deal with talking about it after my cancer surgery or what had happen," she added.

In another tweet, she revealed the alleged abuse happened shortly after her cancer surgery.

"Yes, it was horrible what had happened to me two days out of the hospital," she said.

Grammer was married to actor Kelsey Grammer from 1997 until 2010. Their divorce was finalized in early 2011.

The couple welcomed two children - daughter Mason and son Jude - via surrogate.
