Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2013: Kristin Chenoweth Forgets To Start Lip Syncing While Performing 'New York, New York' [VIDEO]
Kristin Chenoweth attended the 87th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in New York City where she performed a Frank Sinatra classic but the star missed her cue.
As she wore a white coat, Chenoweth eagerly waved to viewers but forgot to start lip-syncing with the background vocals when she was supposed to. While she may have been embarrassed, the 45-year-old recovered like a pro and mouthed the next words.
Prior to the performance, Chenoweth expressed her excitement via Twitter.
Although there was a chance the famous balloons wouldn't be able to take the skies because of possible high winds, Snoopy and more characters glided through Manhattan.
"I'm pretty sure the magicians at Macy's Parade Studio have once again made it onto Santa's nice list," Amy Kule, executive producer of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, said in a statement before the parade. "As America's best high school and college marching bands, hundreds of dancers, cheerleaders, clowns, and balloon handlers make their way down the streets of New York for our 87th march, they will be joined by four brand new giant character balloons, five new intricately designed floats and one spinning dreidel."
