Amy Adams, who will soon reprise her role as Lois Lane in the highly anticipated Man of Steel 2, said that she has read the script for the movie.

Speaking with Jimmy Kimmel on his late night show, Adams said that she had "just read the script" for Man of Steel 2 and that she would begin shooting the movie "very soon." She also said that she could not reveal any other details about the project.

While Adams did not reveal anything about the plot, the fact that she has read the script already suggests that she will at least play a somewhat significant part in the film. With such tentpole characters as Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and even Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), it would be easy for her character Lois Lane to get lost in the shuffle, but the fact that Adams has read the script already is probably a good thing for Lois Lane fans.

Meanwhile, Cinema Blend is reporting that Man of Steel 2 will still be a predominantly Superman movie, despite the big hubbub over Affleck's Batman being included in the film. There have been rumors that Wonder Woman could have a romance with Superman in the film, which would undoubtedly complicate things with his relationship with Lois.

Other stars expected to appear in the film are Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, who both return to reprise their roles in Man of Steel as Perry White and Martha Kent, respectively.
