Arrow star Stephen Amell recently addressed the possibility of playing Green Arrow in the Justice League movie.

Amell, who plays the titular Green Arrow Oliver Queen on the CW show, told Fandango recently that he has had discussions to reprise the role on the big screen.

The actor explained that he has to make sure everything is in order with Arrow before potentially taking the character to the world of film through the Justice League movie.

"I have had discussions, but I think the gestation process for this project is a lot slower than most people think," he explained. "I mean, they haven't even shot the next one. They haven't even shot a frame of the movie before the movie everyone thinks is the Justice League movie!"

While Fandango reported that the discussions were on a studio level (Warner Bros.), Amell took to Facebook after the report was published to set the record straight.

"At no point, have I had 'studio level' discussions about any feature films at Warner Bros," he wrote. He went on to explain that the article made it seem like he was dismissing his current job at Arrow, adding that he would not discuss such secret deals with Warner Bros. anyway considering they employ him.
