In that trailer, the cast of the movie weighed in on the pairings on the show, which were being translated to the film adaptation.

Veronica is now living in New York with her current boyfriend Stosh Piznarski (Chris Lowell), the move is also a part of her intention to run as far away from Neptune as she could. But seems like Veronica's past will stubbornly follow her. Through the news she finds out that Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring) has been accused of murder. Logan calls Veronica seeking her help. In the trailer Veronica turns him down at first but eventually gives in and agrees to help him get out of the mess.
