Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice NOT a Man of Steel Sequel?

Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder recently tweeted out a photo of Affleck in his new "Batsuit" as Batman while standing next to his Batmobile. Based on the photo, it seems that Affleck has bulked up significantly, though this could just be the suit rather than the actor's own body.

Production is beginning in Detroit as well as other Michigan locations.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's butler. Additionally, Holly Hunter is set to star as a new character, though rumors are stating that she will play a "female Alfred" type of character.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on May 6, 2016.
