DeGeneres' talk show won five acclaimed awards including ones in Outstanding New Approaches - Enhancement to a Daytime Program or Series, Outstanding Special Class Writing, Outstanding Achievement in Lighting Direction and the big one for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show.

DeGeneres couldn't hide her excitement on Twitter. The talk show host tweeted "My show won the Emmy for Entertainment Talk Show! My staff works so hard every day. I'm so happy. I think this counts as a Christmas bonus."

This comes days after DeGeneres and wife de Rossi were seen strolling hand-in-hand in NYC. After constant rumors of divorce, the two seemed better than ever on their mini vacation. DeGeneres wore a green t-shirt, black capri pants, sneakers and a hat, while de Rossi looked elegant in a black shirt, red pleated skirt and funky sandals.

The couple has been through a lot in the public eye. Recently an OK! Magazine report claimed that friend Sofia Vergara was getting in between de Rossi and DeGeneres.

"Portia always resented Ellen's friendship with Sofia, and now that Sofia is leaning on Ellen for support," a source said, "she's even more jealous." Another source refuted any jealousy claims telling GossipCop.com that the rumor was "laughable."
