He reportedly refused to do Star Wars: Episode VII if he wasn't offered the ability to reprise his role in an upcoming Indiana Jones 5 film, but Harrison Ford may be considering delaying the film in favor of another sequel project.

Harrison Ford Appearing In 'Blade Runner 2?'

The actor reportedly has been handed off a script for Blade Runner 2-and the entire fate of that movie is reportedly resting in his hands.

"As far as I know, Harrison Ford has read it and liked it, but that is hearsay," writer Michael Green told Den of Geek.

'Indiana Jones 5' Franchise Will Be Like James Bond?

Though no script has reportedly been developed yet for Indiana Jones 5, the fact that Ford is reading the script and expressing interest in yet another one of his more time consuming action roles could mean that a possible Indy 5 is still going to be quite some time off from either a theatrical release or even an official announcement that it's in the works.

Speculation has been rampant about a possible fifth Indiana Jones film, with several rumors that Ford would be replaced in the film, though he's talked about his desire to be a part of the film for a long time-and has even ventured his thoughts on where a new script could take things.

"I think it would be interesting to advance the understanding of the character, as we have always had that ambition throughout the series," Ford said about what he'd want to see in a script back in 2010. "I think it would be interesting to deepen the relationship between he and his son [Mutt, played by Shia LaBeouf] and play on that relationship...it's full of opportunity. The series is full of opportunity."

No official word has come from Disney on the status of a fifth Indiana Jones film.
