Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan are set to appear in "Scary Movie 5."

According to Hollywood Reporter, the "Mean Girls" star has not signed a contract "as of right this moment," but sources close to the project said it has been confirmed verbally.

Lohan completed filming a television biopic about the life of Elizabeth Taylor. "Liz & Dick" will air on the Lifetime network and the former Disney star plays Taylor. She is currently shooting "The Canyons" with porn star James Deen.

The report revealed a spoiler that "Anger Management" star Charlie Sheen will return to the sequel. He appeared in "Scary Movie 4" and his character was killed, but the script for 5 will include Sheen's return.

Anna Faris who played the lead in all four films will not return for the fifth installment of the hit horror film franchise.

The "Scary Movie" comedy series is a parody of hit horror movies. All four films have grossed over $800 million worldwide. The opening scene for each has always been inspired by "Scream." Courtney Cox and David Arquette have appeared in every installment of the Wes Craven series. Drew Barrymore and Emma Roberts have also guest-starred.

The first two "Scary" movies were created, written, directed by Shawn and Marlon Wayans, also known as The Wayans Brothers. The franchise starred Anna Farris, Regina Hall, Shannon Elizabeth, Carmen Electra and Kevin Hart

"Scary Movie 5" is a reboot of the "Scary Movie" franchise and will arrive in theaters January 11, 2013.
