Celine Dion Poses Topless for V Magazine Photo Shoot

Celine Dion is one hot mama!

The 44-year old singer and mother of three, poses topless and in barely-there outfits for a risqué high fashion shoot for V magazine's travel issue (on newsstands Aug. 30).

"I'm like this in my real life," Dion, 44, said of the surprising shoot, according to People magazine. "I was scared a little bit because this is so different for me, but I'm glad I did it. Usually there's always a reason when I do a photo shoot, there's not the opportunity to go crazy." 

According to the New York Daily News, this is her first non-promotional magazine shoot in nearly six years.

The five-time Grammy winner told V magazine, "I've been an open book all my life and I think that's why people like me." Dion said she has always maintained the same persona on and off-stage.

"For me to tell someone that my husband [René Angélil] had cancer, that we were struggling to have kids, or whatever we've gone through, talking about my life lets people know the real me." 

Although Dion will continue to perform in Las Vegas for her three-year residency, her family will always be her top priority.

"I thought I had a life before, but until I was a mom, I had no idea. Why would I want a hit? Why would I want to win awards? There is nothing I can hope and wish for my career: I can just hope to be blessed as a mother for the rest of my life the way I am now. That's the only nomination I want."

The same V magazine issue features a topless and nearly bottomless Nicole Kidman on the cover.
