In addition to the report $400,000 per year Tom Cruise will pay ex-wife Katie Holmes in child support for daughter Suri, the actor has also set up an enormous trust fund for Suri at Holmes' request.

Radar Online reported that Holmes' desire for 6-year-old Suri to have a "sizable trust fund" was one of the main factors in the divorce settlement between the two actors.

"Katie wanted the trust fund put in place for Suri so that their daughter will be able to tap into after she turns 18 years old," a source told Radar. "Katie has absolutely no access to the money and didn't want to. She just wanted to ensure that Suri would have financial security as she becomes an adult. It's a sizable trust fund, but Suri won't be able to fully legally claim it until she is in her 30s."

Holmes may have requested the fund, but Cruise was reportedly planning to do something similar for his daughter on his own.

"Tom had no problem with the request and planned on doing it for Suri anyway," the source said.

The only dividends from the divorce are going to Suri. Holmes won't get a big payout because of the prenuptial agreement she signed upon marrying Cruise. She will, however, be able to keep millions of dollars in jewelry and handbags that Cruise bought her during their union.

Since the divorce, Holmes has moved out of the couple's Bel Air mansion and relocated with Suri to a luxury building in New York City.
