Charlize Theron; Eric Stonestreet Comments on Dating Rumors

There's new celebrity gossip revolving around the love life of Eric Stonestreet.

After taking home an Emmy trophy, the "Modern Family" star is shining in the glow of success which may be leading to new romances. The Daily Mail reported on Sunday that Stonestreet, 41, is now dating Charlize Theron, 37, after the two were introduced "by mutual friends in Los Angeles earlier this year."

The British tabloid reported: "Eric is down to earth and funny and Charlize thinks the world of him. It's early days but they're very fond of each other."

The two Hollywood stars have been seen hanging out at industry events, but there apparently isn't anything going on as Stonestreet took to Twitter Sunday morning to weigh in saying: "I wish people would stop spreading rumors that Charlize Theron and I are dating."

The comic actor, who recently split from longtime girlfriend Katherine Torkaz, continued to tweet, "It's starting to make Halle Berry jealous."

Us Weekly reports that the two have hung out at some industry events, but a source close to Theron also denied the romance.

Theron has been busy herself as having become a new mom of her adopted son Jackson who joined her family earlier in spring. Her last serious relationship was with Stuart Townsend, whom she parted ways with in 2010 after almost ten years together.

Last December, Theron talked to Ellen DeGeneres about making the most of her single life.

"I haven't been single since [I was] like 19," the Snow White and the Hunstman star said. "I've been in two relationships. One was ten years, and one was three years. Just like back to back."

"When I talk about it, it's not to get pity," she explained. "It's actually a nice experience for me because I haven't experienced it . . . I'm really enjoying it."
