In light of criticism of her recent weight gain, Lady Gaga will cash in on her road to becoming healthy - she is secretly planning to launch her own healthy drinking water brand.

While details of the brand have yet to be confirmed or announced, an insider slipped that the project is in the works and it's part of a huge multi-million dollar global deal.

"Gaga has been at the center of a lot of attention over her weight increase," a spy told New York Daily News. "Losing her weight in such a short time and launching a healthy water drink may be part of a plan."

The "Fame" singer's design team at Haus of Gaga are said to be hard at work on the final details of the bottled water marketing campaign, said James Desborough, a West Coast reporter.

Gaga's team has been ordered to remain mum on all of the details. Even the shape of the bottle's design will remain a mystery until Gaga is ready for the big reveal.

"Everyone at Gaga HQ is keeping very tight-lipped. There are plans being prepared for marketing strategies," said the source. "We know that the water drink is due out in the near future. No one has seen prototypes of the bottle. Gaga water is something that has been in the pipeline for a few months, and now things are really gearing up to an announcement and high-profile launch."

Gaga is not the first celebrity to endorse a line of bottled water. Jennifer Aniston is presently hawking her famous haircut for Smart Water brand.

But it seems Gaga is modeling her deal after the agreement rapper 50 Cent had with Glaceau Vitamin Water.

Glaceau Vitamin Water gave the Queens native a minority stake in the company and launched a "Formula 50" grape flavored water as part of the deal. When Coca-Cola purchased Glaceau in 2007, 50 Cent reportedly earned $100 million, which put him at the top of Forbes magazine's "Hip Hop's Top Earners" list the following year.

Last month, Gaga released her "Fame" perfume to the delight of her her fans, she nicknamed "Little Monsters."
